Why was this developed?

The new UI is to make Avo more intuitive and self-serve. Ease of navigation and swift movement from one screen to another will fulfill customer needs in a faster and more efficient way. The main goal was to minimize the number of clicks in the application.

What is the Goal?

The Avo Assure user interface has been improved for enhanced user experience, reducing clicks and improving navigation, thereby meeting customer needs efficiently.

How does it work?

1. Avo Assure Login Page

The Avo Assure team has enhanced the login page, allowing users to log in with SSO/SAML credentials. For more information, refer to the section Log in Screen Overview.

2. Avo Assure Home Page

The Avo Assure team has enhanced the home page, allowing users to Ease of navigation and swift movement from one screen to another in a faster and more efficient way. For more information, refer to the section Home Page Overview.

3. Creating Mindmap

Mindmap is a canvas on which the user can visually represent the test flow. The test flow may include the Test Suites, Testcase, Screens, and test steps. For more information, refer to the section Mindmap Overview.

4. Capturing Elements

The capturing element is the process of uniquely identifying elements present in the application under test (AUT). For more information, refer to the section Element Identification (Capturing Elements).

5. Designing Test Steps

The Design test steps process involves performing a combination of actions on elements identified in the Application Under Test (AUT) and validating that the results of these activities meet the expected outcomes. For more information, refer to the section Authoring Testcases.

6. Executing Test Case

The test case execution is the activity that runs a test on a component or system, producing actual results. Test case execution involves executing the test scripts in the test environment on the AUT. For more information, refer to the section Executing Test Flow.

7. User Access to Reports

Reporting is defined as collecting and analyzing data from testing activities and subsequently consolidating the data in a report to inform stakeholders. For more information, refer to the section Reports Analysis.
