Element Repository
The Element repository in Avo Assure is a centralized location where users can easily access and manage captured elements across the same project. This minimizes redundancy, improves collaboration between team members, and offers a more intuitive experience in creating and maintaining automated tests.
Creating the Element Repository
The step-by-step process to create an element repository in Avo Assure are:
1. Navigate to the Avo Assure landing page, select the Project from the All Projects list and click on Element Repository. This brings the Element Repository Page on the screen.

2. Click Create Repository button from the element repository window to create a new repository

3. Enter the repository name in the textbox and click Save button in the Add Repository window to save the repository

Managing the Element Repository
Let’s view the steps to add a new repository, delete and capture element for the repository.
Adding a New Repository: Click on the Add Repository button located on top right corner of Element Repository tab
Adding a New Repository: Click on the Add Repository button located on top right corner of Element Repository tab and enter Repository name in text box -> Click Save button

Deleting a Repository: Click the Delete button present alongside the repository -> pop window will appear -> click Yes button
Note: Repository should be expanded because if it is collapsed then delete button is not visible

Capture elements:
1. Click Capture button to add elements to the repository and capture the element
Note: Repository should be expanded because if it is collapsed then capture button is not visible
2. Click the Capture Elements button present in the element repository window. Click Capture Elements and read the detailed steps to capture elements
To delete capture element, click the Delete icon which is present in Repository window -> pop window will be appear and click Yes button to delete capture element

Element Repository in Design Studio
The step-by-step process to use a repository from the screen node of the Mindmap are:
1. Open the Context menu for a Test Case
2. Select + Add Screen to create a Screen node of the Mindmap
3. Open Context menu for Screen, Click Element Repository

4. Click Expand icon from the extreme top right corner of the Element Repository section screen

5. Select required repository from Repository dropdown and captured element will get added here
