Zephyr Scale is a widely used test management tool for project management and issue tracking, specifically designed for Agile and DevOps teams. This tool is commonly integrated with Jira. Zephyr Scale integration in Avo Assure allows teams to efficiently create, manage, and execute test cases, and track their results.
The step-by-step process to generate the API Access token from Jira to integrate Zephyr scale with Avo Assure are:
1. Click on the Profile icon in the upper right corner of the Jira landing page
2. Click on Zephyr Scale API Access Tokens button
3. Click on the Create access token button to generate the access token
4. Click on the Copy button to copy the token
Note: Paste the access token in your Notepad. Once you close the Create Access Token window, you won’t be able to view, download or recover this secret access token. The user can generate a new token whenever needed.
The step-by-step process to create the API token from Jira to integrate Zephyr scale with Avo Assure are:
Click on profile icon in the upper right corner of the Jira landing page
Click on Manage Account
Navigate to the Security section in the upper pane of the new window
Click on the Create and manage API tokens under the API tokens section
Click on Create API Token to generate a new token
Enter the Label for the token and click on the Create button to generate the API token
Click on the Copy button to copy the token and click on the Close button to close the dialog box
Note: Paste the API token into your Notepad. Once you close the Your New API Token window, you won’t be able to view, download or recover this secret access token. The user can generate a new token whenever needed.
The step-by-step process to integrate Zephyr scale with Avo Assure are:
1. Click on the required project and go to Settings from the landing page of Avo Assure
2. Click on Manage Integrations
3. Click on the Zephyr Scale logo and enter the username, Jira API Token, URL and Zephyr Scale token
4. click on the login button after entering the credentials for Zephyr login
The next step after successfully integrating the Zephyr scale with Avo assure is mapping.
There are 2 types of mapping here n-to-1 and 1-to-n.
5. Once you login to Zephyr Scale Integration in Avo Assure, a new window will open select the Zephyr Scale Projects from the dropdown and select Avo Assure Project to map the given test cases
6. Once you have mapped the given test cases, click on the Map button and click on the Save button
Once successful mapping is done, the user needs to execute the Zephyr Scale test cases using Avo Assure Client.
7. Go back to the Avo Assure landing Page and select your project from the ALL PROJECTS list. Then click on the Execute button
8. Select Configure & Execute tab then click on the Add Configuration button
9. Enter the Configuration name, select your test suites, select browsers and select integration as Zephyr Scale in the Execution Configuration Setup Window
10. Select the project from the Select Zephyr Project dropdown for configuring the mapping done and click the Save button
11. Now click on the Save button to save the Execution configuration setup.
12. After saving the configuration setup, navigate to the Configure & Execute page. Click on Execute Now button
13. Click on the Execute button after selecting the ICE Client for execution from the Execute Now window
Note: The reports can be viewed in both Zephyr Scale and Avo Assure.
1. After execution, a dialog box with the execution status will appear in Avo Assure to view Reports, click on Reports to view them
2. A new window will open where you can view the reports. For detailed reports, click on the View Reports icon
3. Now the users can view your detailed Reports.

2. A new window opens displaying the Execution Reports
