TestRail Testcase Execution

Let's now understand the steps to perform TestRail Testcase execution with Avo Assure

1. Navigate to Avo Assure landing page > Select required project from All Projects list > Click Execute button present under Overview tab to navigate to Configure & Execute window

2. Click Add Configuration button to bring up Configuration setup window

3. Enter configuration name in Configuration Name textbox > Select project and then Test Suites of that project > Select browser from Select Browsers dropdown to execute the configuration on it > Select TestRail integration from Select Integration dropdown

The per-filled TestRail window will appear on the screen

4. Select available test plan from Select Test Plan/Test Run dropdown to work on desired test plan else select Default option

5. Select Test run from Select Test Run dropdown > Click Save button

6. Click Save button in execution configuration setup window to save the configuration, after its successful saved, A toast message appears stating ‘Configuration created successfully’.

7. Click Execute Now button and Execute Now: TestRail window appear on the screen

8. Select Execute with Avo Assure Client radio button > Select available Avo Assure Client from Execution dropdown > Click Execute button. This will start execution on Avo Assure Client

After execution, you can check the status of execution on TestRail dashboard.
