Home Screen

The Home screen includes the Header, Avo Assure Logo, Plugins Section, Task Pane, View plans, Need Help, Notification, User Profile, and Footer Section.

  1. Header Section: The header section includes the "Avo Assure logo," "View Plans," "Need Help?," "Notifications," and "User Profile."

  2. Avo Assure Logo: Clicking on the Avo Assure logo allows users to navigate to the Avo Assure homepage.

  3. View plans: Clicking the "View Plans" button directs the user to the Avo Assure pricing structure.

  4. Need Help: It is an approach of expressing that you require assistance to resolve the issue or accomplish the task. The need help includes Training Videos, Documentation, and Contact us.

    • Training Videos: Training videos are video-based guidance designed to assist users in solving issues. Click on the "Training Videos" button will navigate the user to the Avo Assure e-Learning web page.

    • Documentation: Documentation is a set of written materials or files that provide information about the Avo Assure. Documentation is generally used to communicate information and instructions to the user. Click on the "Documentation" button will navigate the user to the Avo Assure documentation page.

    • Contact us: It allows users to express their issues, request assistance, and give feedback on the Avo Assure product. Click on the "Contact Us" button, and the user will be directed to the Avo Assure email page.

  5. Notifications: Avo Assure sends the user a notification to let them know when an update has happened. E.g., notification for a new task.

  6. User Profile: The user profile includes the User Role, Download Client, Settings, and Logout.

    • User Role: It will Display the role of the currently logged-in user. E.g., Test Lead

    • Download Client: To download the latest version of the Avo Assure Client, click the 'Download Client' button.

    • Settings: To manage the user-specific settings, click the Settings button. For detailed information, refer to Settings.

    • Logout: To end the active session, click the Logout button.

  7. Plugins Section: The plugins section provides users a view of all available plugins. Clicking on a plugin redirects the user to its respective plugin page.

    • iTDM: iTDM is a Test Data Management tool to create synthetic data.

    • Reports: The user can view, analyze and export executed test scenarios.

    • Dashboard: The dashboard allows the users to create, view, and manage test automation.

    • Utilities: Utilities for encryption and data tables.

    • Integrations: The Integration enables the user to Configure Avo Assure to integrate with external systems.

    • Avo Genius: Avo Genius is a smart recorder to capture users' end-to-end test scenarios.

    • Selenium To Avo: To convert Selenium scripts to Avo Assure scripts using the Avo Assure tool.

  8. Projects Section: The users can view and work on their assigned projects. The project includes Design and Execution.

    • Design: The user can create a mindmap, capture the elements, and design test steps on the web.

    • Execute: To execute the test steps. The user has to click the Execute button.

  9. Footer Section: The user can view the Avo Assure product's web server version in the footer section.

Settings

To manage the user-specific settings, click the Settings button. The settings include Edit User, Tokens, ICE Provisioning, Project, Git Configuration, Jira Configuration, and Zephyr Configuration.

Edit User

To update the user-specific details, the user has to click the Edit User button.

  1. The user has to Log in to Avo Assure using valid credentials.

  2. The user has to click the User Profile icon.

  3. The user has to click the Settings button, and the Manage window will be displayed.

  4. To access the Edit User window, the user has to click the "Edit User" button from the Manage action bar.

  5. The user can view and edit the First Name, Last Name, and Email.

  6. The user has to click the Change Password check box to change the password.

  7. The user has to enter the Old Password in the old password box.

  8. The user has to enter the New Password in the new password box.

  9. The user has to confirm the New Password in the confirm new password box.

  10. The user has to click the Update button.

Tokens

  1. The user has to Log in to Avo Assure using valid credentials.

  2. The user has to click the User Profile icon.

  3. The user has to click the Settings button, and the Manage window will be displayed.

  4. To access the Token Management window, the user has to click the "Tokens" button from the Manage action bar.

  5. The user has to enter the Token Name in the token name box.

  6. The user has to select the Token Expiry date from the select date box.

  7. The user has to select the Token Expiry time from the select time box.

  8. The user has to click the Generate button.

  9. The generated token will be displayed in the CI Tokens window.

  10. To copy/download the token, the user has to click the Copy/Download icon.

  11. To deactivate the token, the user has to click the Deactivate button.

ICE Provisioning

In this section, the user can re-provision, re-register, and change their default ICE.

  1. The user has to Log in to Avo Assure using valid credentials.

  2. The user has to click the User Profile icon.

  3. The user has to click the Settings button, and the Manage window will be displayed.

  4. To access the ICE Provision window, the user has to click the "ICE Provision" button from the Manage action bar.

  5. If no ICE is connected, the Default ICE field will display ‘No Default ICE'.

  6. The ICE Provisions list will display all the ICEs that belong to the user.

  7. To set an ICE as the 'default ICE', select the required ICE from the list of ICEs displayed by clicking the associated radio button. Note: If any ICE is not connected, its selection will be disabled for ‘Default ICE’.

  8. If only one ICE is connected, it will be designated as a default ICE automatically.

  9. To re-provision / re-register the ICE, the user has to hover over the selected ICE entry in the list.

  10. The user has to click the ‘Re-provision/Re-register’ button. For more information, refer to the User Administration.

Project

The user can view details of the project(s) assigned to them.

  1. The user has to Log in to Avo Assure using valid credentials.

  2. The user has to click the User Profile icon.

  3. The user has to click the Settings button, and the Manage window will be displayed.

  4. To access the Project Details window, the user has to click the "Project" button from the Manage action bar.

  5. To view the project details, the user has to select the Project from the select project drop-down.

  6. The project details will be displayed.

Git Configuration

  1. The user has to click the User Profile icon.

  2. The user has to click the Settings button, and the Manage window will be displayed.

  3. To access the Git Configuration window, the user has to click the "Git Configuration" button from the Manage action bar.

  4. The user has to select the domain from the Select Domain drop-down.

  5. The user has to select the project from the Select Project drop-down.

  6. The user has to enter the git configuration name in the Enter Git Configuration Name field.

  7. The user has to enter the git access token in the Enter Git Access Token field.

  8. The user has to enter the git URL in the Enter Git URL field.

  9. The user has to enter the git username in the Enter Git Username field.

  10. The user has to enter the git user E-mail in the Enter Git E-mail Id field.

  11. The user has to click the Create button, and a toast message will be displayed as Git configuration created successfully.

  12. To update or delete the Git Configuration, the user has to click the Edit button.

  13. If necessary, the user can edit the git configuration and click the Update button.

  14. To delete the Git Configuration, the user has to click the Delete button.

Jira Configuration

  1. The user has to Log in to Avo Assure using valid credentials.

  2. The user has to click the User Profile icon.

  3. The user has to click the Settings button, and the Manage window will be displayed.

  4. To access the Jira Configuration window, the user has to click the "Jira Configuration" button from the Manage action bar.

  5. The user has to enter the Jira URL in enter jira URL box.

  6. The user has to enter the Jira username in enter jira username box.

  7. The user has to enter the Jira API Key in enter jira API key box.

  8. The user has to click the Create button.

  9. If necessary, The user can update the Jira URL, Jira Username, and Jira API key and click the Update button.

  10. To delete the Jira Configuration, the user has to click the Delete button. If the user wants to delete the Jira Configuration, click the Yes button.

SauceLabs Configuration

  1. The user has to Login Avo Assure with valid credentials.

  2. The user has to click the User Profile icon and click the Settings button.

  3. The user has to Click the SauceLabs Configuration button.

  4. The user has to enter the SauceLabs remote URL in the Enter SauceLabs Remote URL field.

  5. The user has to enter the SauceLabs username in the Enter SauceLabs Username field.

  6. The user has to enter the SauceLabs access key in the Enter SauceLabs Access Key field.

  7. The user has to click the Create button.

Zephyr Configuration

The user can create (save) and delete (clear saved) Zephyr Configurations to validate the Zephyr login process during integrations between Zephyr test cases and Avo Assure scenarios.

  1. The user has to Log in to Avo Assure using valid credentials.

  2. The user has to click the User Profile icon.

  3. The user has to click the Settings button, and the Manage window will be displayed.

  4. To access the Zephyr Configuration window, the user has to click the "Zephyr Configuration" button from the Manage action bar.

  5. The user has to select the authentication type as the Basic radio button.

  6. The user has to enter the Zephyr URL, user name, and password.

  7. The user has to click the Create button.

  8. To update the Zephyr URL, Username. The user has to click the Update button.

  9. To delete the Zephyr Configuration, the user has to click the Delete button.

  10. The user has to select the authentication type as the Token radio button.

  11. The user has to enter the Zephyr URL and Token.

  12. The user has to click the Create button.

  13. To update the Zephyr URL, Token. The user has to click the Update button.

  14. To delete the Zephyr Configuration, the user has to click the Delete button.
