License Registration and Activation

Instructions to register and activate the Avo Assure License

Prerequisites

  1. Ensure that the License Server is running.

  2. The user should have the URL for the License Server which was obtained during the License Server setup. Eg: http://hostname:5000

  3. The user should have access to a web browser (preferably Chrome or IE 10 and above).

Activation Process (Online Mode)

  1. Open the copied URL (from point 2 of Prerequisites) in any web browser.

  2. The below web page will be displayed.

3. The details on the screen are to be addressed as specified below,

  1. ‘License Key’ is the product key for the user, obtained during the License Administration.

  2. User registrant has to provide their personal details like ‘First Name’, ‘Last Name’ and ‘E-mail’.

4. After providing valid details, click on ‘Register’. 5. Upon successful registration, the user can see his license details.

Activation Process (Offline Mode)

  1. Open the copied URL (from point 2 of Prerequisites) in any web browser.

  2. The below web page will be displayed on entering the URL.

3. The details on the screen are to be addressed as specified below:

  1. ‘License Key’ is the product key for the user, obtained during the License Administration.

  2. User registrant has to provide their personal details like ‘First Name’, ‘Last Name’ and ‘E-mail’.

4. After providing valid details, click on ‘Proceed’. 5. If valid details are entered. Then below web page will be displayed:

6. The details on the screen are to be addressed as specified below:

  1. Download the ‘Access Token’ by clicking on the ‘Download Token’ button. This token has to be given to Avo Assure Support Team.

  2. Avo Assure Support Team will provide a file to the user. The received file (named “license.key”) is known as Authorization Code.

  3. Either manually paste the contents of the file in the Input area or click on ‘Upload Authorization Code’ to upload the file.

7. After providing valid details, click on ‘Register’. 8. Upon successful registration, the user can see his license details.

Troubleshooting (with Error Messages)

In case the activation process is met with an error among the following:

  1. [ERROR CODE: 30-59] Error occurred in the Licensing Manager Problem: Internal Error in Avo Assure Product. Solution: Contact Avo Assure Support Team.

  2. [ERROR CODE: 60] Invalid License Key Provided

    Problem: The user is running an invalid setup. Solution: Contact Avo Assure Support Team.

  3. [ERROR CODE: 61] License is already registered

    Problem: The user has already procured this license. The license provided is for single use only. Solution: Contact Avo Assure Support Team if this error is received on first-time registration.

  4. [ERROR CODE: 62] Invalid License Key Provided

    Problem: The user is trying to run the configured setup on a different machine. Solution: Contact Avo Assure Support Team.

  5. [ERROR CODE: 101] License is already registered

    Problem: The user has already activated their License. Solution: Re-registration is not needed. Navigate to the home page of the license server to verify registration details.

  6. [ERROR CODE: 106] License server is Stopped

    Problem: Either license validity is expired, or Internal Error occurred. Solution: Restart the server to confirm. The server should start normally, and if the server fails to restart with the error message “[ERROR CODE: 131] License Expired” or any other error message, then contact Avo Assure Support Team.

  7. [ERROR CODE: 111] SLK Avo Assure License Manager is unavailable

    Problem: Either the system is offline, or it does not have sufficient rights to access the SLK Network. Solution: Contact Avo Assure Support Team.

  8. [ERROR CODE: 135] Error occurred in Licensing Server

    Problem: The License Server setup is corrupted.

    Solution: Contact Avo Assure Support Team.

  9. [ERROR CODE: 136] Critical error in Licensing Server.

    Problem: Internal Error occurred in the license server. Solution: Restart the server. If the same message is displayed again then contact Avo Assure Support Team.

  10. [ERROR CODE: 137] Critical error in Licensing Server Problem: Internal Error occurred in the license server. Solution: Restart the server. If the same message is displayed again then contact Avo Assure Support Team.

If none of the above scenarios hold true and the server is still not running, please contact Avo Assure Support Team.
