5. BrowserStack Integration

In the previous version of Avo Assure, there was no support for BrowserStack integration to address the challenges of cross-browser compatibility testing for web applications.
Avo Assure team has developed the BrowserStack integration feature, which offers a cloud-based platform for remote access to web browsers and operating systems, enabling efficient testing and identifying compatibility issues in web applications across various configurations.
The user has to navigate to the Avo Assure home screen and select the project from the All Projects list.
The user has to click the Execute button, and the Configure & Execute window will be displayed.
The user has to click the Add Configuration button, and the Execution Configuration Setup dialog box will be displayed.
The user has to enter the configuration name in the Enter Configuration Name field.
The user has to select the required Test Suites.
The user has to select Avo Agent / Avo Grid from the Avo Agent / Avo Grid drop-down.
The user has to select the browser from the Browsers drop-down and click the Save button.
The execution configuration will be created and displayed in the Execution Configuration Table.
The user has to click the Execute button, and the Configure & Execute window will be displayed.
The user has to select BrowserStack from the Cloud Test drop-down, and the BrowserStack Login dialog box will be displayed with pre-filled data.
The user has to click the Submit button, and the BrowserStack Integration dialog box will be displayed.
The user has to select the operating system from the Select OS drop-down.
The user has to select the operating system versions from the Select OS Versions drop-down.
The user has to select the browser from the Select Browsers drop-down.
The user has to select the browser versions from the Select Browser Versions drop-down.
The user has to search and select the available Avo Assure Client and click the Execute button.
Execution will start on the selected Avo Assure client.
The user has to navigate to the BrowserStack home screen and click the Automate button.
To view the test results, the user has to click the All Builds drop-down.
The user can view the live Testcase execution in BrowserStack Test Results.
After completing the Execution, the user can view the testcase execution video.
To view the logs on the BrowserStack screen, click the Text Logs button.
If the user upgrades to the latest version of Avo Assure to 23.2.0, this feature will be available automatically.
