Example: Waiting for a UI Element to Become Visible

In this example, we are explaining how to wait until a captured UI element becomes visible on the screen.

  • Action: Wait for Element to be Visible

  • Input Value: N/A

    • This action does not require any input value. It continuously checks for the visibility of the captured UI element within the application until the element appears on the screen.

  • Output Value: {Status}

    • The wait operation result is stored in the {Status} dynamic variable with the following possible values:

      • True: If the UI element becomes visible within the timeout period.

      • False: If the UI element does not appear or the action fails.

  • Logical Explanation: The Wait for Element to be Visible action does not require any input value. The action monitors the captured UI element within the application under test and waits until it becomes visible. The result of this operation (True) is stored in the {Status} dynamic variable.
