Example: Performing a Drag Action on an Object

In this example, we are explaining how to perform a drag action on a captured UI element.

  • Action: Drag Object

  • Input Value: N/A

    • This action does not require any input value. It performs a drag operation by clicking and holding the captured UI element and moving it to the desired location within the application.

  • Output Value: {Status}

    • The drag action result is stored in the {Status} dynamic variable with the following possible values:

      • True: If the action successfully drags the object to the target location.

      • False: If the action does not drags the object to the target location.

  • Logical Explanation: The Drag Object action does not require any input value. The action identifies the captured UI element in the application under test, clicks and holds it, and drags it to the specified destination. The execution result (True) is stored in the {Status} variable.
