Pull data from Bitbucket Repository to Avo Assure

Note: The steps below are the same for all artifacts. Users just need to navigate to the respective artifact window, select the required data or parent folder, and then pull it.

Steps for - Test Case

  1. Navigate to Respective tab.

  2. Click Bitbucket icon and select Pull method

  1. Search Branch and select appropriate Folder

  2. Click Pull button, then user can see three options:

i. Overwrite: When Overwrite option is selected, it will restore the previous version of the Test Artifacts into the current folder.

ii. Create Artifacts: If Create Artifacts option is selected, it will create new Artifacts inside the folder.

iii. Create folder: If Create folder option is selected, it will create new folder in the respective artifacts window and pull all the data in the newly created folder.

  1. Steps after selection options.

By selecting Overwrite option from Pull Test Cases popup window.

  1. Click Yes button to restore the previous version of the Test artifacts folder into the current folder.

After some time, the user can see the previous version of the Test Artifacts in the folder.

Note: Below are the notes applicable for Test Case tab only

Additional information about when user pulling Data from the Bitbucket Repository.

  1. When a user pushes a Test Case along with a Test Data file (e.g., Excel sheet) and later wants to pull both together, they can simply select the Test Case and the associated data file.

  2. After pulling, the Test Case will appear in the Test Case section, while the data file will be saved in the Avo Assure client folder. The file path will also be displaying in the Avo Assure client console.

  3. If a user wants to use the pulled data file, they need to update the file path in the Test Case according to the location of the pulled data file.
