Verify element exists

This is a pre-built Action located under the captured element from the Desktop Application. The functionality of this Action in Avo Assure is to verify the presence of the element in the application. The result is stored in the given dynamic variable for further use during test execution.

Both dynamic variable stores the status as True or False.

Example: Verifying the Presence of an Element on the Screen

In this example, we are explaining how to verify whether a specified element is present and visible on the application screen.

  • Action: Verify element exist

  • Input Value: N/A

    • This action does not require any input value. It checks the presence and visibility of the specified element on the screen.

  • Output Value: {Status}

    • The result of the verification is stored in this {Status} dynamic variable with the following possible values:

      • True: If the specified element is present and verified successfully on the screen.

      • False: If the specified element is not present or verification fails.

  • Logical Explanation: The Verify element exists action does not require any input value. It identifies the target element on the application screen and verifies whether it is present and visible. The execution result of the verification operation (True) is stored in the {Status} variable.
