Edit Element

The Edit feature allows users to change the values and priorities of the element properties

Step-by-step process to edit element properties in Element repository

Navigate to Element Repository window

  1. Select folder, select repository located in left pane of window then select element, hover your cursor to empty column and click edit icon to bring up Details window.

  2. Change the value and click Save Properties button to save the changes.

Delete element

Element can be deleted by 2 ways and the process to delete them from the element repository are:

By navigating to element column
  1. Hover cursor to empty column. Select folder, select repository located in left pane of window then select element, hover your cursor to empty column and click Delete icon to bring up Delete Element pop up window

  2. Click Yes button from the popup to delete the element

By the using the delete icon from the options
  1. Click delete or bin icon present in top right corner

  2. Click Yes button from the popup to delete the element

Search Element

The search element feature allows user to search element present the Element Repository

Step-by-step process to delete element from element repository:

  1. Navigate to Element Repository window,

  2. Select folder, select repository located in left pane of window then click Search textbox to search element from Repository

Element Count

The Element count feature gives the number of elements present in the Repository

Navigate to Element Repository window, select folder, select repository located in left pane of window, at top right corner Element Count is located

Element Identifier Order

Element identifier order feature maintains the stability of the element by changing the priority of element identifier

For example: If any object’s identifier like class name attribute is stable which will be never changed so for this scenario will give priority as 1 for class name attribute

Step-by-step process to change the properties element identifier order in Element repository:

Navigate to Element Repository,

  1. Select Repository from left pane of screen, select element from list.

  2. Click Edit icon on the right pane to bring up element identifier order pop up window.

  3. Drag and drop to reorder the identifiers, click Save button

Open information

Navigate to Element Repository window

Click eye (Open Information) symbol from top right pane to get the element details

The View screenshot feature allows users to highlight the elements captured from the AUT.
