Export & Import Elements

Import Repository

The Import Elements function allows you to retrieve elements from the local machine and store them in a project which can be reused, serving as a backup for future reference.

Step-by-step process to import element repository in Avo Assure:

Navigate to Element Repository window

Select Repository from left pane of screen to import, click Import icon from the top right pane of Element Repository window

Choose file and import

Click Choose File button and select Json file from the local machine, then click import button to import in Repository

Save the file

Click Save button located at top right corner

Export Repository

The Export Elements function is used to retrieve elements from the element repository and save them to a local machine or directly export them into a new project for future reference or backup.

Step-by-step process to export element repository in Avo Assure:

Navigate to Element Repository window

Step 1

Select Repository from left pane of screen to export, click Export icon from the top right pane of Element Repository window

Step 2

Click Export button and exported file will be saved in downloads folder in machine

Navigate to Element Repository window

Click eye (Open Information) symbol from top right pane to get the element details
