Note: The above resource specifications are only for running ICE. Please provide sufficient resources to run the application under test and other software installed on the machine.

Oracle E-Business Suite (OEBS)

    JRE (32bit) 6 or above needs to be installed.

    “Enable Java Access Bridge” checkbox should be checked in the following places:

    Set Enable XSS filter in Internet Settings to Disable. Tools >> Internet Options >> Security >> Custom Level >> Enable XSS filter: Disable

    Make sure the 'Environment Variable' path is set up correctly.

      Go to Computer >> Properties >> Advanced System Settings >> Environment Variables

      Copy Java path till JRE, where Java is installed in the system (32-bit JRE).

      Add it to Path Variable under System Variables.

    Oracle forms under test should always be at the top during Object Identification, Debug, and Execution.


SAP GUI scripting should be enabled. Below are the steps to enable it.
  1. 1.
    System Display Settings The Scale and layout of the machine should be 100%. In order to set the Scale and layout field, follow the below steps:
    1. 1.
      Search for the Settings App in the search field from the taskbar.
2. Click on the System settings icon.
3. In System settings, navigate to the Display page. Here find the dropdown fields of Scale and layout.
4. Change the highlighted field's value to 100% (if set otherwise).
2. On the SAP Server Side
  1. 1.
    Log in to your SAP server.
  2. 2.
    Run transaction RZ11.
3. Specify the parameter name “sapgui/user_scripting” and click on Display. If "Parameter name is unknown" appears in the status bar, it indicates that you are missing the current support package. Check your installed packages.
4. Change the value of “sapgui/user_scripting” to TRUE and click on Save.
3. On the SAP Client-Side – SAP GUI Settings The below-mentioned steps must be performed by the Avo Assure test user to maintain the necessary screen level compatibility for GUI-based SAP applications like SAP ECC and SAP HANA.
3.1 Step 1:
  • Open the SAP instance and click on Customize Local Layout (ALT+F12) button.
  • Click on Options.
3.2 Step 2:
  • Navigate to Visual Design > Theme Preview/ Setting.
  • Check Use Corbu style icons.
3.3 Step 3:
  • Select Interaction Design > Keyboard Settings.
  • Check Activate accelerator keys.
3.4 Step 4:
  • Navigate to Interaction Design > Visualization2.
  • Select radio button Show Enhanced Search automatically.
3.5 Step 5:
  • Navigate to Interaction Design > Notifications.
  • Select No tooltip in the dropdown for Tooltip Delay.
3.6 Step 6:
  • Navigate to Accessibility & Scripting > Accessibility.
  • Check Use accessibility mode.
3.7 Step 7:
  • Navigate to Accessibility & Scripting > Scripting.
  • Check Enable scripting.
    • Uncheck "Notify when a script attaches to SAP GUI" (if checked).
    • Uncheck "Notify when a script opens a connection" (if checked).
  • Click OK and Apply.
4. In the SAP Logon 740 window, go to Connections -> Add New Entry -> User Specified System. Enter the following details in System Connection Parameters
