Performing Post Upgrade Activities in Avo Assure
Post Upgrade Instructions help ensure that the application operates smoothly after a new product release. These instructions explain the steps to follow after upgrading to a new version of Avo Assure, so the latest updates, improvements, and fixes work properly.
Updating Avo Assure Client for Existing Users
To update the existing Avo Assure Client, perform the following actions:
Open Avo Assure Client.
Select the Help tab.
Select Check for Updates. The Update Available dialog opens.
Select Update to update the Avo Assure Client.
After update completes, Update Complete dialog displays.
Select OK and restart the Avo Assure Client.

Downloading Avo Assure Client for New Users
To download the Avo Assure Client, perform the following actions:
On the Home page, select the Profile icon.
Select Downloads.
Select Download Client. The .exe file downloads.
Install the Avo Assure Client.

Installing Avo Assure Client for New Users
To install the Avo Assure Client, perform the following actions:
In the Downloads folder, select Avo Assure Client.exe file to install.
On Setup-Avo Assure Client dialog, select Next.
Select Destination Location and select Next.
Select Finish to close Setup-Avo Assure Client dialog.

Generating Token and Connecting Avo Assure Client
To generate token and connect the Avo Assure Client with Avo Assure instance, perform the following actions:
On the Home page, select the Profile icon.
Select Token Management. The Avo Assure Client Provision dialog opens.
Select Generate to create a token and copy the generated token.
Open Avo Assure Client on your system. The Avo Assure Client window opens.
Select Register. The Avo Assure Client Registration dialog opens.
Paste the copied token in Token text box.
Select Connect.
