# B. Creating Xray Test case and map to Avo Assure Test case

If a Test case does not exist in Xray, the **Create Xray Test Case** feature allows creating it directly from Avo Assure and automatically maps it to the selected Avo Assure Test case.

#### To create and map an Xray Test Case with an Avo Assure Test case, perform the following actions:

1. From the **Xray Project** dropdown. Search and select the required **Jira/Xray project**.
2. Select **Create Xray Test Case**. A **Create Xray Test Case** pop-up window appears.

4. Select the **Create Test Case** button to create a Test case in Xray. Once created, it is automatically mapped to the selected Avo Assure Test case.

**Note:**

* The mapping process starts automatically. It is not required to initiate the mapping separately.
* To view the mapped Test case, refer to [View Mapped Test case in Avo Assure](/avo-assure/integrations-in-avo-assure/test-management/xray/viewing-mapped-test-case-in-avo-assure.md).
 {% endhint %}

5\. After successfully mapping, the message **All 1 Test Case(s) Mapped Successfully** appears.
