# Configuring and Executing Test Case

Configuring and executing test cases in Avo Assure requires a streamlined approach to ensure efficient test outcomes. As an initial step, you must configure the execution list with the appropriate settings, including test case selection, integration preferences, and defect management options. After the configuration is complete, you can proceed with executing the test cases, allowing Avo Assure to generate detailed reports.&#x20;

**To configure and execute test cases, perform the following actions:**&#x20;

1. Navigate to **Execution** tab, **Create Execution List**.&#x20;

2. Expand **Test Management** option and select **Zephyr Scale/Xray** as Test management tool.&#x20;

When selected **Zephyr Scale,** select **Zephyr Scale** project from dropdown and then select **Test          Cycle** and **Save** it. **/** When selected **Xray**, select **Xray Project** and **Test Plan** and **Save** it.

3. Expand the **Bug Tracking Tool** option and select **Jira** as bug tracking tool from the dropdown.&#x20;
4. Turn on the **Auto Defect Creation** toggle button and **Save** the Configuration.&#x20;

5. Click **parent folder**, select **Execution List**.

6. Click **Execute** button located in top right pane, **Execute Now** window will appear.&#x20;
7. Click **Execute** button to start the execution.&#x20;
