# About Optimization

The Optimization pane displays the results of a prompt. It provides a summary of the results and lists the identified artifacts with relevant details. You can review, search, filter, sort, and manage the results.

This article walks you through the Optimization in Avo Assure. It explains the key components of the Optimization interface and describes the purpose of the available user interface (UI) controls, enabling users to interpret the displayed information effectively.

On the **Optimization** pane (**Home** > Select **Project** > **Design Studio** > **Optimizer** > Select a prompt), you can do the following:

1. **Find**: Allows you to search for a prompt by name.
2. **Overview**: Allows you to return to the home page of Optimizer.
3. **Create New**: Allows you to create a new custom prompt.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note**: After you create a new prompt, it appears under the **Custom** section.
{% endhint %}

4. **Prompts**: Allows you to view prompts based on the following sections:
   * [**Verified**](/avo-assure/create-and-execute-tests-with-design-studio/optimizer-beta/prompts/working-with-verified-prompts.md)
   * [**Custom**](/avo-assure/create-and-execute-tests-with-design-studio/optimizer-beta/prompts/working-with-custom-prompt.md)
5. **Action Summary**: Allows you to view a summary of the conditions checked by the prompt and the results identified.
6. **Count**: Allows you to view the total number of items identified by the prompt.
7. **Run**: Allows you to run the prompt.
8. [**Audit Logs**](/avo-assure/create-and-execute-tests-with-design-studio/optimizer-beta/features-in-optimizer/viewing-prompt-execution-history.md): Allows you to view the history of the previous prompt, including the date, and time.
9. **Chart**: Allows you to view a graphical summary of the prompt results.
10. **Result table**: Allows you to view the artifacts and items identified by the selected prompt, displays the required actions, and provides the following filters:
    * [**Search**](/avo-assure/create-and-execute-tests-with-design-studio/optimizer-beta/managing-optimizer/searching-findings.md)
    * [**Filter**](/avo-assure/create-and-execute-tests-with-design-studio/optimizer-beta/managing-optimizer/filtering-findings.md)
    * [**Line Spacing**](/avo-assure/create-and-execute-tests-with-design-studio/optimizer-beta/managing-optimizer/adjusting-row-spacing.md)

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.avoautomation.com/avo-assure/create-and-execute-tests-with-design-studio/optimizer-beta/about-optimizer/about-optimization.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
