verifyCellToolTip
This is a pre-built Action located under the captured table element. The functionality of this Action in Avo Assure is to verify whether the tooltip text is present in the specified table cell. The result is stored in the given dynamic variable for further use during test execution.
Note: A tooltip for a table cell is a small pop-up box that appears when you hover your mouse over a cell in the table. It provides additional information or context about the data in that cell, helping you understand it better without cluttering the table.
Syntax
Input Value: <row>;<col>;<value>
<row> (Required)
Provide the row number of the table cell you want to verify.
<col> (Required)
Provide the column number of the table cell you want to verify.
<value> (Required)
Provide the tooltip text you want to verify for the specified cell.
Output Value: <Dynamic Variable>;<Dynamic Variable>(Optional)
<Dynamic Variable>;<Dynamic Variable>(Optional)
Both dynamic variable stores the status as True or False.
Example: Verifying the Tooltip Text of a Specific Table Cell
In this example, we explain how to verify whether the tooltip of a particular cell in a table matches the expected value.
Action: verifyCellToolTip
Input Value: 6;2;Mobile
The first argument (6) specifies the row number.
The second argument (2) specifies the column number.
The third argument (Mobile) specifies the expected tooltip text to be verified.
Output Value: {Status}
The verification result is stored in this {Status} dynamic variable, with the following possible values:
True: If the tooltip text matches the expected value.
False: If the tooltip text does not matches the expected value.
Logical Explanation: The verifyCellToolTip action reads the details from the Input Value column (6;2;Mobile). It identifies the table cell located at row 6 and column 2, retrieves the tooltip text from that cell, and compares it with the expected value (Mobile). The result of this verification (True) is stored in the {Status} variable.
