Get Total Row Count

This is a pre-built Action located under the captured table element. The functionality of this Action in Avo Assure is to retrieve the total number of rows present in the table. The result is stored in the given dynamic variable for further use during test execution.

Argument	Description
<Dynamic Variable> (Required)	This dynamic variable stores the total number of rows in the table.
<Dynamic Variable> (Optional)	This dynamic variable stores the status as True or False.

Example: Retrieving the Total Row Count of a Table

In this example, we explain how to retrieve the total number of rows present in a captured table.

• Action: Get Total Row Count

• Input Value: N/A

  • This action does not require any input value. It identify the capture table and retrieved the total row count of the table.

• Output Value: {Count}

  • The total number of rows (15) is stored in the {Count} dynamic variable.

  • If a second output variable is provided, the action returns the status as True or False:

    • True: If the total row count is retrieved successfully.

    • False: If the total row count is not retrieved successfully.

• Logical Explanation: The Get Total Row Count action does not require any input value. This action analyses the captured table structure, identifies all available rows, and retrieves the total number of rows present in the table. The extracted row count (15) is stored in the {Count} variable.
