# Clear Text From Cell

This is a pre-built Action located under the captured table element. The functionality of this Action in Avo Assure is to clear the text from the textbox within the specified table cell based on the input value provided. The result is stored in the given dynamic variable for further use during test execution.

## **Syntax**

**Input Value**: `<Row>;<Col>;<Object Type>;<Index>`

### **Example: Clearing Text from a Specific Table Cell**

In this example, we explain how to clear the text from a textbox located within a specific cell of a captured table.

* **Action**: Clear Text From Cell
* **Input Value**: 5;3;input;2
  * The first argument (**5**) specifies the row number.
  * The second argument (**3**) specifies the column number.
  * The third argument (**input**) specifies the object type of the cell.
  * The fourth argument (**2**) specifies the index of the object.
* **Output Value**: {Status}
  * The result of the action is stored in the **{Status}** dynamic variable, with the following possible values:
    * **True**: If the text is cleared successfully.
    * **False**: If the text is not cleared successfully.
* **Logical Explanation**: The **Clear Text From Cell** action reads the details from the **Input Value** column (**5;3;input;2**).
