# Scroll Horizontally

This is a pre-built Action located under the captured grid element. The functionality of this action in Avo Assure is to perform a horizontal scroll operation on the scrollable section of the grid based on the input provided. The result is stored in the given dynamic variable for further use during test execution.

## Syntax

**Input Value**: `<Direction>;<No.of Scrolls>`

**Output Value**: `<Dynamic Variable>(Optional);<Dynamic Variable>(Optional)`

| \<Dynamic Variable>(Optional);\<Dynamic Variable>(Optional) | Both dynamic variable stores the status as **True** or **False**. |

### Example: Scrolling the Grid Horizontally

In this example, we are explaining how to scroll a grid horizontally in a specified direction and for a defined number of times.

* **Action**: Scroll Horizontally
* **Input Value**: right;3
  * The first argument (**right**) specifies the direction in which the grid should be scrolled horizontally.
  * The second argument (**3**) specifies the number of times the scroll action should be performed.
* **Output Value**: {Status}
  * The scrolling result is stored in the **{Status}** dynamic variable, with the following possible values:
    * **True**: If the scrolling is performed successfully.
    * **False**: If the scrolling is not performed successfully.
* **Logical Explanation**: The **Scroll Horizontally** action reads the details from the **Input Value** column (**right;3**). It identifies the scrolling direction right and the number of scroll repetitions 3 and performs horizontal scrolling accordingly on the captured grid. The result of this operation (**True**) is stored in the **{Status}** variable.
