# Send FunctionKeys Securely

This is a pre-built Action located under the **Custom element.**&#x54;he functionality of this action in Avo Assure to accept an encrypted text and send the individual keystrokes to the textbox specified in the input value, and save the result in dynamic variable.

### **Syntax**

**Input Value:**`<ObjectType>;<VisibleText(optional)>;<Index>;<EncryptedText>;<abs(optional)>`

| \<ObjectType>                         | Specify the type of object (e.g., textbox, input)                                                                         |
| <p>\<VisibleText><br>(Optional)</p>   | Enter the visible text on the object                                                                                      |
| <p>\<Index><br>(Required)</p>         | Provide the position of the element, which helps to identify the value based on the sequence in list . (starting from 0)​ |
| <p>\<EncryptedText><br>(Required)</p> | Encrypted value to be decrypted and sent as keystrokes                                                                    |
| <p>\<abs><br>(Optional)</p>           | If the **abs** is provided, the action is performed with absolute identification using the **absolute X path**            |

**Note:** To provide encrypted text as input, the user should encrypt the required text using **AES Encryption** from the tool’s encryption utilities.

**Output Value**

**Example**

**Performs secure transmission of encrypted function key inputs to a specified object**

The **Send FunctionKeys Securely** action takes the value from the Input Value column (e.g., **Input;;2;5TM5E2heb7N+5g==**) and sends the encrypted function key input to the specified object securely. The result of the action is stored in the **{Secure}** variable, with the following possible values:

* **True** – if the function key is sent successfully.
* **False** – if sending fails
