# Hover Mouse on Object

This is a pre-built Action located under the captured element. The functionality of this action in Avo Assure is to move the mouse pointer over the specified captured element in the application. The result is stored in the given dynamic variable for further use during test execution.

## Syntax

**Input Value**: `N/A`

| Argument | Description    |
| -------- | -------------- |
| N/A      | Not Applicable |

**Output Value**: `<Dynamic Variable>(Optional);<Dynamic Variable>(Optional)`

| Argument                                                    | Description                                                       |
| ----------------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------- |
| \<Dynamic Variable>(Optional);\<Dynamic Variable>(Optional) | Both dynamic variable stores the status as **True** or **False**. |

### **Example: Hovering the Mouse Over a Captured Element**

In this example, we are explaining how to perform a mouse hover action on a captured UI element within the application.

* **Action**: Hover Mouse on Object
* **Input Value**: N/A
  * This action does not require any input value. It simulates a mouse hover event on the specified captured element.
* **Output Value**: {Status}
  * The hover action result is stored in the **{Status}** dynamic variable with the following possible values:
    * **True**: If the mouse hover operation is successfully performed.
    * **False**: If the mouse hover operation fails on the element.
* **Logical Explanation**: The **Hover Mouse on Object** action does not require any input value. The action identifies the target UI element and performs a mouse hover event over it within the application under test. The execution result (**True**) is stored in the **{Status}** variable.
