| Argument            | Description                                             |

{% endhint %}

**Output Value**: N/A

| Argument | Description    |
| -------- | -------------- |
| N/A      | Not Applicable |

### **Example: Setting the HTTP Method for a Web Service Request**

In this example, we are explaining how to set the HTTP method to GET for a web service request during API testing.

* **Action**: setMethods
* **Input Value**: GET
  * The input value (**GET**) specifies the HTTP method to be used for the web service request.
* **Output Value**: N/A
* **Logical Explanation**: The **SetMethods** action reads the value from the **Input Value** column (**GET**) and applies it as the HTTP method for the web service call associated with the previously set endpoint URL.
