# Get Col Value Corr To Selected Node

This is a pre-built action available under the **Captured Tree Element** from the **SAP GUI Application**. The functionality of this action in Avo Assure is to fetch the column value corresponding to the selected tree node and save the result in the dynamic variable.

### **Syntax**

**Input:** `N/A`

| Argument | Description    |
| -------- | -------------- |
| N/A      | Not Applicable |

**Output Values**

| Argument                       | Description                                                                |
| ------------------------------ | -------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| \<Dynamic Variable> (Required) | This variable stores the column value of the selected tree node.           |
| \<Dynamic Variable> (Optional) | This dynamic variable holds the execution status as **True** or **False.** |

**Example**

**Fetches the column value from the selected tree node**

The **GetColValueCorrToSelectedNode** action not take the value from the Input Value column **(e.g., 3)** and retrieves the corresponding column value from the selected tree node. The result is stored in the **{GetColVal}** variable.
