# Verify Text

This is a pre-built action available under the **Captured Textbox Element** from the **SAP GUI Application**. The functionality of this action in Avo Assure is to verify whether the text present in the specified textbox matches the expected text provided in the input value.

### **Syntax**

**Input Value:** `<input text>`&#x20;

**Output Value**

| \<Dynamic Variable>(Optional);Dynamic Variable>(Optional) | This dynamic variable holds the result as **True** or **False**. |

**Example**

**Verifies that the text in a textbox (e.g., acap3) matches the expected value.**

The **Verify Text** action takes the value from the Input Value column (e.g., Execute) and checks whether the captured button or UI element displays the expected text. The result of the action is stored in the **{VerifyText}** variable as **True** (if the text matches) or **False** (if the text does not match).
