# Get Column Count

This is a pre-built action available under the **Captured Table Element** from **SAP GUI Application**. The functionality of this in Avo Assure to fetch the count of the total number of columns present in the table and save the result in dynamic variable.&#x20;

### **Syntax**

| <p>\<Dynamic Variable><br>(Optional)</p> | This dynamic variable holds the result of this actions as **True** or **False** |

**Example**

**Fetches the number of columns in a GuiTable from SAP Application.**

The **Get Column Count** action retrieves the total number of columns from the target table. The result of this operation is stored in the **{TotalColCount}** variable as **8**.
