# Get Status

This is a pre-built action available under the **Captured Element** from the **SAP Application**. The functionality of this action in Avo Assure is to fetch the status of a button whether it is enabled or disabled on the SAP screen and save the result in the dynamic variable.

### Syntax

**Input Value:** `N/A`

| Argument | Description |
| -------- | -------------- |
| N/A | Not Applicable |

**Output Value**

| Argument | Description |
| ------------------------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| \<Dynamic Variable> (Required) | This variable holds the status of the button (e.g., Enabled/Disabled) |
| \<Dynamic Variable> (Optional) | This dynamic variable holds the result as **True** or **False**. |

#### Example

**Retrieves the current status (enabled or disabled) of a button element**

The **Get Status** action is used to check if a specific button (e.g., **Print (Ctrl+P)**) is currently disable or enabled in the SAP application. It determines whether the element is active for interaction. The result of the check is stored in the **{GetStatus}** variable.
