# Close mainframe

This is pre-built Action located under the **Mainframe List Element**. The functionality of this action in Avo Assure is used to close the currently opened mainframe session or window. This ensures the session is terminated properly.

**Closes the mainframe terminal session**

The **Close mainframe** action does not require any input in the Input Value column. It is used to terminate or close the active session of the mainframe terminal in the desktop application.
