# Get tab name
This is a pre-built action available under the **Captured Tab Element** from the **Desktop Application**. The functionality of this action in Avo Assur is to fetch the name of the selected tab and save the result in the dynamic variable.

**Example**
**Retrieves the name of the selected tab from the captured tab element**\
The **Get tab name** action does not require any input value and fetches the name of the currently selected tab from the captured tab element. The result of the operation is stored in the **{Tab Name}** variable as (**Verify Details**)
