# Select multiple list values by text

This is a pre-built action available under the **Captured list Element** from the **Desktop Application**. The functionality of this action in Avo Assur is to select the value from the List based on the text provided in the input.

### Syntax

**Input Value:** `<text1>;<text2>;…etc.`&#x20;

The **Select multiple list values by text** action takes the value from the Input Value column (e.g., **System Manufacturer HP;OS Manufacture**) and selects all matching values in the list.
